January 25, 2001 Dear Friends: In fiscal year 1999/2000, Stewards Ministries was able to assist many assemblies, assembly related ministries and commended workers across the broad spectrum of North American assemblies. We had the privilege of providing assistance to over seventy assembly camps, two hundred and fifty "retired" commended workers and widows, and nearly two hundred commended workers and their families. We were also able to provide ministry assistance to over one hundred assemblies and assembly-related ministries, partnering with them in carrying out the work given to them by the Lord. The number and diversity of the ministries and individuals prevents us from listing them all, but generally they fall within one of the following categories: Assembly Services, Assembly Educational Institutions, Youth Ministries, Evangelism and Discipling, Relief Work, Military and Hospital Chaplaincy, Missions and Prison Works, Retired Workers and Widows, Commended Workers, and Scholarships. Listed below is a breakdown of how funds were distributed among the various categories:
Perhaps you know of an assembly, a commended worker or an assembly related ministry that might benefit from resources available through Stewards Ministries. We would be happy to provide a copy of our brochure, Ministry Guidelines that outlines the process used in distributing the financial resources God has entrusted to Stewards Ministries. We are aware of the important work entrusted to us by our Lord, and thankful for the privilege of seeing Him work among assemblies and ministries, both in North America and worldwide. We desire to uphold our responsibilities to be proper stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. All of our board members are committed to using the resources for the benefit of Brethren assemblies, ministries and commended workers. It is with a tremendous sense of joy that we look back over the past fiscal year. We magnify His name together. To God be the glory! In His ministry, William A. Mayes William K. Coyle, Jr. |
